ABOUT KATHERINE
Katherine J. Ford is a Wisconsin watercolor artist whose work begins with close observation. She paints fish, flies, worn tools, hands, and familiar objects—subjects that carry traces of use, memory, and skilled work.
Her connection to fly fishing draws her toward details often passed over: the curve of a hook, the inner workings of a reel, a fish’s eye, or the grip of a weathered glove. Her Creative Workbench paintings extend that attention beyond the water, honoring tools and the people whose lives remain visible in them.
Katherine lives and works in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. Her work is included in the collection of the Italian Museum of Fly Fishing.
